On the way home from my Yosemite trip I spent a night at beautiful Paulina Lake in central Oregon, which has one of the best around-the-lake hikes anywhere, straight from one of the campgrounds.
The trail is right next to the water a lot of the time
Sometimes it gets a little higher
There is LOTS of obsidian here
Lakeside campsites have great sunsets. The bird in this shot was just a lucky stroke for me.
