Panther Creek is a tributary to the Wind River in the southwest part of the Gofford Pinchot National Forest, a short way north of the town of Carson. It is a lush and densely-forested area, and the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail passes right through it. Panther Creek Falls is, to me, one of the prettiest on the Washington side of the Columbia River. A smooth and well-paved, but narrow road provides easy access.
