I visited Crater Lake National Park once before, in June. This was a ski trip with the Oregon Nordic Club, organizing by the Portland chapter, at the beginning of March. The first day was cloudy with terrible crunch snow. That night it snowed about one inch and was sunny the next day, making for better views and better snow.
