Mt Adams - Stagman Ridge to Salt Creek

Brad and I hiked up Stagman Ridge, turned right on the Graveyard connector to Lookingglass Lake, and then went cross country up to the Round the Mountain trail to Salt Creek to my secret camping spot for a couple nights.

Mt Adams is visible through the Cascade Creek burn on Grassy Hill on Stagman Ridge

Almost no snow on Adams except for the remnant White Salmon Glacier

Fall color is already out - mountain ash here

Huckleberry

After making camp, we hiked north to the Bumper, and again, a snowless mountain from The Bumper

Visible and loud landslide - no snow to hold the mountain in place

Saturday had lenticular clouds all day long

On Sunday we hiked south and east to upper Gotchen Meadow - strong winds off the summit
