I stopped by the north side of Yellowstone for a few days in March during my crosscountry move from Washington, DC to Bingen, WA. There was a modest warm spell, at least for March in Montana. Yellowstone is known for its wildlife, and it didn't fail to deliver. In order below are elk, bison, hot springs (that's mineral buildup, not ice), pronghorn, and bighorn.
