Snowbird Pass

On my free day at Berg Lake, I wanted to hike the long trail to Snowbird Pass, a 15 mile round trip from camp. The sunshine of the previous day was gone, but it didn't rain.

The trail breaks off of the Berg Lake trail one mile up from camp and follows the flats next to the Robson River

There were no icebergs in Berg Lake, but there were a few in the lake below Robson Glacier

Interesting rocks along the trail

The trail eventually goes up some steep talus and then across this rock band

Robson Glacier

Then the trail follows a lateral moraine next to the Robson Glacier

The trail then turns left and passes through Snowbird Meadows

Farther up you get a better view of the pass

A fat marmot wouldn't stand still for a photo

Watch a video of Snowbird Pass (which I mistakenly call Sunbird Pass despite there being no sun)

Looking at the route back. Camp is on the valley bottom around the left of the ridge out of view
