I arrived in British Columbia's Mt Robson Provincial Park about noon on a mostly sunny day - in what is often the wettest part of the Canadian Rockies. Here is what I saw from the highway:

After setting up camp in the campground, I took a walk on a trail next to the Robson River. All bodies of water in the Canadian Rockies have this color.

After dinner, I drove down the road a bit to Rearguard Falls. According to the info display, this is the farthest the salmon make it up the river. They get no further than this, though not for a lack of trying.
