Kleine Scheidegg is the name of a pass. The railroad passes through it, and there are a number of restaurants and hotels there. The fanciest hotel there, in one of the pictures below, is the one made famous (at least to Americans) in Clint Eastwood's movie, the Eiger Sanction. There are hiking trails in many directions, and one train route continues up to another higher pass between the big mountains. This is called the Jungfraujoch (the 'j's are pronounced as the letter 'y' in english).
The train heads up out of the Lauterbrunnen Valley; the town is Wengen.

This is the Schilthorn, that I climbed a few days before.

This is where the Jungfraujoch train goes into the mountain. Remember that part of the movie?
And the iconic shot of the hotel and mountain, on so many postcards.
