The Snipes Trail on the south side of Mt Adams goes through a hot and dusty burn from the Cold Springs fire fore quite a ways. But the payoff above are the serious of Gotchen Meadows for the last two miles or so before reaching the Round the Mountain Trail, with Gotchen Creek meandering and gurgling through.
